  1. This is one of my very favorite recipes. You have to try it, especially cooling for the summer. It is very tasty and has many great flavors. Most of what goes into the recipe is raw and it is very healthy for you. The Bhutanese red rice is especially good because it gives it a sweet nutty flavor that is just wonderful. I have substituted Forbidden Rice and others, but like the red rice the best. It just disappears. usually we double the recipe, it is so good.

    I have never eaten it with the optional Chicken. It is so good without it.

  2. I finally took a break from correcting papers to try this wonderful salad. I didn’t think I would like the onions in it but they were perfect. I used a regular onion and liked the crispness it added.
